Cost per day across the fleet
The weekly rate is where the real saving sits. Anything from five days onwards, ask for the weekly price rather than paying by the day.

Where the value shows up
The expensive part of a rental gone wrong is never the daily rate. It is the day you lose to a breakdown on the way to a permit you already paid for, the excess you had to cover because the insurance was basic, or the overage bill on a mileage cap you did not read.

What is a fair price for car rental in Rwanda?
For a fully insured 4x4 with unlimited mileage, USD 45 to USD 75 per day covers most of what visitors need, and USD 110 buys a full size Land Cruiser. Anything far below that range usually means reduced insurance, a mileage cap or an older vehicle.
Do you charge extra for a second driver?
No. An additional named driver is free, provided they present the same documents and meet the same minimum age and licence requirements.
Is there a mileage limit on your rentals?
No. Mileage is unlimited anywhere inside Rwanda on every self drive rental. Cross border trips are quoted separately because they need extra insurance and paperwork.
Can I get a discount for a two week rental?
