Most Rwanda itineraries are a mix: three hours of excellent tarmac followed by twenty kilometres of steep dirt. A RAV4 handles the tarmac and struggles at the end. A Land Cruiser handles the end and costs more in fuel all the way there. The Prado does both well, which is why it is the most requested vehicle in the fleet.
